Privacy policy

This page explains what Allerg-x collects when you visit allerg-x.com or join our waitlist, how we use it, who else sees it, and what choices you have. We've tried to keep it plain. If anything is unclear, write to us at gianni@allerg-x.com.

The short version

  • What we collect: your email address when you join the waitlist, plus your baby's birthday or due date if you choose to share it.
  • Why: to tell you when Allerg-x is ready to ship, and to time that message around your baby's age.
  • We don't sell your information and we don't share it for advertising.
  • Analytics cookies are off unless you accept them in the cookie banner.
  • You're in control: email us any time and we'll delete your information.

1. Who we are

Allerg-x is operated by Fratwin Dunner, LLC, a Florida limited liability company based in Tampa, Florida ("Allerg-x," "we," or "us"). This policy applies to allerg-x.com and to any form, page or email we run under the Allerg-x name.

2. What we collect

Information you give us

  • Waitlist sign-up: your email address (required) and your baby's birthday or due date (optional). You pick it from a calendar, and an approximate date is fine.
  • Messages: if you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. Please don't include medical details or health information about your baby.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the site, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request, and the date and time. We use this to deliver the site, keep it secure and fix problems.

Analytics (only if you accept)

If you click Accept on the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how many people visit and which pages they read. This can include your approximate location (worked out from your IP address), your device and browser, and the pages you view. If you decline, analytics does not load.

What we don't collect

We don't collect payment information (nothing is for sale yet), your baby's name, your baby's medical or allergy history, or your precise location.

3. How we use it

  • To email you when Allerg-x is ready to ship. As the sign-up form says, we plan to send one email when we launch. If we want to send anything beyond that, we'll ask first.
  • To time that message around your baby's age, if you gave us a birthday or due date.
  • To run, secure and improve the website.
  • To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used (only if you accept analytics cookies).
  • To reply to your messages and requests.
  • To meet legal obligations and protect our rights.

4. Cookies

Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. We use a very small number:

We don't track you across other websites, so we don't change how the site works in response to "Do Not Track" signals.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We use a few service providers to run the site and the waitlist. They handle information only on our behalf and for these purposes:

If Allerg-x is ever involved in a merger, sale or similar change, your information may transfer to the new owner, who would need to honor this policy or tell you about changes.

6. How long we keep it

  • Waitlist information: until you ask us to delete it, or until we've finished launch communications and no longer need it.
  • Messages you send us: as long as needed to reply and keep a reasonable record.
  • Server logs: for the period set by our hosting provider.
  • Analytics data: for the period set in our analytics account.

If you live in California or another US state with a privacy law

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy of it, to correct it, to delete it, to opt out of the sale or sharing of your information, and to be treated no differently for using these rights. We don't sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of, but the other rights apply.

How to make a request

Email gianni@allerg-x.com with the subject "Privacy request" and tell us what you'd like us to do. We may ask you to confirm you control the email address involved. You can also have an authorized agent make a request for you. We'll respond within the time the law requires, which is generally 45 days. If we decline a request, we'll explain why, and you can reply to ask us to take another look.

8. Children's privacy

This site is for parents and caregivers, not for children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. The sign-up form asks for an optional birthday or due date for your baby. That is information about your baby that you, as the parent, choose to give us. It isn't tied to your baby's name, and we use it only to time our emails. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email us and we'll delete it.

9. Health information

Allerg-x is a food product, and this website is not a healthcare service. We don't ask for medical information and we ask that you don't send it to us. For any question about your baby's health or allergies, please talk to your pediatrician.

10. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your information, including serving this site over an encrypted connection and relying on established hosting providers. No method of storing or sending information is completely secure, so we can't promise absolute security.

11. Where data is processed

We're based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. If you visit from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and handled in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those where you live.

13. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If the change significantly affects how we use information you've already given us, we'll tell you by email.
